I've spent my career as an IT Manager, Project Manager, and IT Infrastructure Engineer for businesses across multiple sectors, solving the problems that keep an organisation moving: its systems, its data, and the teams that depend on them. The work covered ERP rollouts, Microsoft 365 migrations, business continuity planning, and cyber security accreditations.
Doughty Digital is what happens when twenty-two years of solving business problems gets pointed at websites for small, medium and enterprise businesses. The tools have changed (modern AI-assisted page builders, not hand-coded HTML) but the mindset is the same: understand what the business is trying to achieve, then build the solution that delivers it, and keep it delivering long after launch.

I live in York with my long-term partner. Three adult daughters, all out doing their own thing now.
We've a second home in Los Alcázares, on the Murcia coast. I work hard, take work seriously, and yes — sometimes I do it from a balcony in Spain. That's rather the point of running your own business.
And, given the colour scheme — yes, I'm a Leeds United supporter.
